PE wax / polyethylene wax is a mixture of hydrocarbons, low molecular weight polyethylene (molecular weight is about 2000~5000) and paraffin wax containing about 18~30 carbon atoms. The main components are straight chain alkanes (about 80%~95%), and a small amount of alkanes with single branch chains and single ring alkanes with long side chains (the total content of both is less than 20%). 

The main characteristics of  polyethylene wax are: low viscosity, high softening point, good hardness, good thermal stability, low high-temperature volatility, good pigment dispersion, good external lubrication, strong internal lubrication, which can improve the production efficiency of plastic processing, good humidity resistance at room temperature, strong chemical resistance, excellent electrical performance, and can improve the appearance of finished products.

PE wax can improve processing efficiency, prevent and overcome adhesion of film, tube and sheet, improve the finish and glossiness of finished products, and improve the appearance of finished products. It can be used as a dispersant for concentrated masterbatch, filling masterbatch and degradation masterbatch of various thermoplastic resins, and can improve the processability, surface gloss, lubricity and thermal stability of HDPE, PP and PVC. As a lubricant for cable insulation materials, it can enhance the diffusion of filler, improve the extrusion molding rate, increase the mold flow rate, and facilitate demoulding. 

As a rubber processing additive, it can enhance the diffusion of filler, improve the extrusion molding rate, increase the mold flow rate, and is conducive to demoulding. Good light resistance and chemical properties can be used as the carrier of pigments, improve the abrasion resistance of paints and inks, improve the dispersion of pigments and fillers, prevent pigments from sinking, and can be used as the matting agent of paints and inks.

As a softener and lubricant for natural or synthetic fibers, PE wax can improve the wear resistance, tear strength, wrinkle resistance and sewing ability of ironless clothes, reduce needle cutting and adjust the touch. It can improve the glossiness, durability, hardness and abrasion resistance of the paper, increase the water resistance and drug resistance, and increase the aesthetic feeling of the paper. It can be added to various paraffin waxes to improve the performance of electrical insulators with excellent performance.

It can be added to insulating oil, paraffin wax or microcrystalline paraffin wax to improve its softening temperature, viscosity and insulation performance. It can be used for cable insulation, capacitor and transformer winding moisture-proof coating. In addition, it can also be used to make shoe polish, candles, crayons, cosmetics, leather agents, hot-melt adhesives, etc.
