Calcium Stearate

Calcium stearate, white powder, insoluble in water, cold ethanol and ether, soluble in organic solvents such as hot benzene, benzene and turpentine, slightly soluble in hot ethanol and ether.

When heated to 400℃, it is slowly decomposed, flammable, and decomposed into stearic acid and corresponding calcium salt in case of strong acid, and has hygroscopic property. Mainly used as stabilizer, lubricant, paint smoothing agent, pencil lead lubricant and so on.

Application direction

Thermal stabilizers and lubricants for polyvinyl chloride, food packaging films, medical devices, and other non-toxic soft products are widely used as lubricants and release agents for thermosetting plastics such as polyolefins, polyester reinforced plastics, phenolic resins, amino resins, as well as leveling agents for paints and thickening agents for lubricants.

Zinc Stearate

Zinc stearate is mainly used as a lubricant and release agent for styrene resin, phenolic resin, and amino resin. At the same time, it also has functions as a vulcanizing agent and softener in rubber.

Zinc stearate is a white lightweight fine powder that is insoluble in water, ethanol, and ether, but soluble in organic solvents and acids such as hot ethanol, turpentine, benzene, etc. After heating and dissolving in organic solvents, it becomes a gel when cooled, and decomposes into stearic acid and corresponding zinc salts when exposed to strong acids. Has lubricity, moisture absorption, non-toxic, slightly irritating, non polluting, and non hazardous characteristics.

Both products are in white powder form and packaged in 25 kg paper plastic composite bags or woven bags. They are transported in pallets, with 40 bags per pallet and a net weight of 1000kg. The outer packaging is extended.
