2. Colorant

Colorants are the main components of color masterbatch. They provide all the required colors and characteristics.

Inorganic pigments: black and white pigments represented by titanium dioxide and carbon black; Iron oxide, metal oxide mixed crystal series, ultramarine, metal sulfide, etc;

Organic pigments: azo series, phthalocyanine series, heterocyclic (fused ring) series, etc;

Organic dyes: solvent dyes, disperse dyes (part), vat dyes (part);

Effect pigments: Mica (pearlescent) pigment, copper gold powder, aluminum silver powder (slurry).

Restricted by the surface characteristics of pigments, the content of different varieties of pigments in color masterbatch is different. Generally, the mass fraction of organic pigments can reach 20% ~ 40%, while inorganic pigments are generally between 50% ~ 80%.

3. Carrier resin

The carrier resin is used as the medium to disperse the pigment and maintain a uniform and stable distribution, while ensuring that the final color masterbatch product presents the due particle state. Various polyolefin resins, polyvinyl chloride, ABS, pet, propylene ethylene copolymer elastomer and various targeted designated resins can become the carrier resin of color masterbatch.

4. Additives
