2. The right molecular weight

With the increase of molecular weight, the dispersibility of wax to pigment is improved gradually. For the production of color masterbatch, polyethylene wax with molecular weight of 3000 is suitable.

3. Narrow molecular weight distribution

The molecular weight distribution has certain influence on the dispersion of polyethylene wax, and the wax with narrow molecular weight distribution has better dispersion than that with broad molecular weight distribution.

4. Strong dispersion ability 

Polyethylene wax can improve the dispersion of pigment, and the dispersion of pigment directly determines the coloring ability of color masterbatch. If the pigment is well dispersed, the coloring power of master batch will be high. Therefore, the dyeing force can be used to characterize the dispersing ability of polyethylene wax to pigments.
