Compared with traditional lubricants such as paraffin wax, polyethylene wax and stearate, ethylene bis stearamide not only has good external lubrication effect, Moreover, it has a good internal lubrication function, which can improve the fluidity and demoulding of melt separated plastic in plastic forming and processing, so as to improve the output of plastic processing, reduce energy consumption, and make the products obtain high surface smoothness and smoothness.

We tested the physical property indexes of EBS produced by Sainuo:

1. Small particles (20-40 mesh): used as lubricants for ABS, rigid PVC, as, PA, PP and plastic wood materials, opening agents for LDPE and LLDPE, smoothing agent and anti adhesion agent for PS, release agent and dispersion and lubricant for pet, PBT and POM, dispersant of EVA flame retardant masterbatch, surface gloss lubricant for rubber (rubber hose, rubber plate and automobile floor mat), etc;

2. Powder (125 mesh): it can be used as dispersant for plastic (ABS, PS) masterbatch and chemical fiber (polypropylene, polyester) masterbatch, bright dispersant for inorganic filler and anti fuel, as well as surface treatment lubricant for modified materials such as ABS, etc;

3. Fine powder (325 mesh): it can be used as diffusion and dispersant for color matching, modifier and lubricating dispersant for ultra-fine powder, so as to improve the brightness, gloss and processing efficiency of products;

4. Micro powder (2000 mesh): it can be used as wax agent and dispersant of ink and paint, pigment grinding aid and dispersant in paint, dispersant of carbon black for chemical fiber, etc;

5. Lubricating, dispersing and anti adhesion agents for mixed powder coatings, polyester powder coatings and epoxy powder coatings;

6. Pu surface treatment agent (micronized wax), release agent of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), lubricant of nylon (PA), anti adhesion agent of rigid plasticized PVC film, and lubrication and opening agent of PE and BOPP film;

7. Lubricants for casting, lubricants for metal processing and powder metallurgy, modifiers for road asphalt and waterproof materials;

8. Brightener of paper coating (can be used for food packaging), antistatic agent of synthetic fiber, defoamer in pulp and paper, brightener lubricant of non-woven fabric and dispersion lubricant of PA-6 flame retardant modified material.

In fact, the application of EBS has also developed rapidly in recent years. In addition to applying EBS to ABS, other attempts have been carried out in China. For example: EBS wax used as polyoxymethylene lubricant by Shanxi Chemical Research Institute and Shanghai solvent factory, and the application effect was good. The result is that the addition of 0.5% EBS to polyoxymethylene improves the melt flow rate and demoulding performance, and the whiteness, thermal stability and various physical indexes of polyoxymethylene reach the indexes of superior products.

Beijing webbing factory applied EBS to the soft PVC water belt produced, which reduced the processing current by 8 ~ 10a, saved power consumption, and improved the effect of film-forming opening.

Taiyuan No. 1 plastic factory applies EBS to the PVC hard sheet produced, which improves the fluidity of materials and prevents the agglomeration of special materials.
