As an asphalt modifier, it can quickly combine with asphalt, improve asphalt components, and do not need to worry about precipitation from asphalt when the state changes. It can quickly and uniformly melt and disperse during the asphalt mixing process, improve the viscosity of asphalt, and enhance its ability to resist flow, Significantly improve the rutting resistance of asphalt mixtures while meeting other performance requirements of asphalt mixtures.

Compared with the original asphalt, the asphalt modified with oxidized polyethylene wax has significantly improved and improved high-temperature performance, elongation, stretching, elasticity, and compatibility with the mixture; It can effectively improve the storage stability of modified asphalt, reduce the occurrence of segregation, and maximize the low-temperature ductility of modified asphalt, improve high-temperature resistance to rutting and low-temperature resistance to brittle cracking, making it suitable for use in high-temperature and low-temperature areas.

Experimental data shows that when the content of oxidized polyethylene wax modifier increases from 0 to 20%, the softening point of asphalt increases, the penetration decreases, the low-temperature ductility increases, the expansion and contraction performance improves, and the elastic recovery improves. The effect is very significant, and the high and low temperature performance is significantly improved. Therefore, as an asphalt modifier, oxidized polyethylene wax has a large dosage and good market prospects.

Oxidized polyethylene wax as an asphalt modifier meets the technical requirements of the transportation industry standard of the People's Republic of China "Asphalt Mixture Modification Additives (JT/T 860.1-2013)".
