The application of Fischer Tropsch wax is very extensive. It is a common aspect in the plastic industry. Fischer Tropsch wax can be applied to plastic processing, such as injection molding, extrusion and granulation. The role of Fischer Tropsch wax on the product during the addition process:

(1) In the production of color masterbatch and modified plastics, Fischer Tropsch wax helps to disperse the filler and has excellent smoothness.

(2) Fischer Tropsch wax can be used as the external lubricant of PVC. Low viscosity can improve the production speed of products and help to disperse the filler when mixing. It has a better appointment especially in the extrusion of high viscosity system. The addition amount of Fischer Tropsch wax is 40-50% less than that of ordinary PE wax, and can significantly improve the surface gloss of products. When using strong color, the melted can also effectively wet the dye and reduce the extrusion viscosity.

(3) Fischer Tropsch wax is an ideal synthetic wax used in EVA based hot melt adhesive. High melting point wax can improve the heat resistance and quick drying of the adhesive.

(4) When Fischer Tropsch wax is used in ink with particulate powder, it can improve the wear resistance and wrinkle resistance of applied materials. When applied in coating, it can play a wrinkle effect. When used in micro powder state, it can form stripes and water wrinkles. When powder coating resin is added, it plays a lubricating role in the extrusion process, which can reduce screw torque, reduce energy consumption and improve production efficiency.

(5) Fischer Tropsch wax has obvious coordination with the stabilizer for PVC processing, which can effectively prolong the thermal stability time and increase the adjustment range of process temperature, especially in CPVC resin processing. Due to the narrow adjustment range of CPVC resin processing process parameters, it increases the processing difficulty of the product, which can effectively improve the later lubrication of CPVC product processing and improve the appearance and mechanical properties of the product.

Fischer Tropsch wax is a wax prepared from coal to gas through Fischer Tropsch synthesis. The main component is c12-c90 burned hydrocarbon. The content of normal burned hydrocarbon is more than 80% and the melting point is more than 90C. It is composed of linear and saturated high-carbon alkanes with relative molecular weight of 200-1200. It has the advantages of fine crystal structure, high melting point, low oil content, low penetration, low mobility, low melt viscosity, hardness, wear resistance and high stability.
