The raw material for melt-blown fabric production requires the use of special materials for melt-blown fabric. The higher the melt index of the melt-blown material PP, the finer the melt-blown fibers, and the better the filter performance of the melt-blown fabric.

However, the non-woven fabric produced by the melt-blown method has only 35% filtration performance. Only after electret treatment (electrostatic adsorption of electret masterbatch), the filtration performance can be improved to more than 95%, and it has a medical protective effect.

But the actual quality control is extremely difficult to guarantee. Because it involves the optimal melting temperature, extrusion force and flow rate corresponding to different raw materials, the choice of spray die head, spray temperature and draft hot air speed, and the synchronous control of the overall speed of the production line.

1. Modified polypropylene raw material with melt index over 1500.

2. Matching of meltblown fabric production equipment and process

3. Electret masterbatch compatible with melt blown PP material, electrostatically adsorbed electret treatment process.
