1.  Color. The standard color and error value of all kinds of cables in wire and cable industry must comply with certain standards, which is a very important index.

2. Electrical Energy. In order to ensure the normal and safe use of positive wires and cables, the color masterbatch used needs to maintain the proper conductivity of the plastic-coated material.

3. Heat resistance. When wire and cable color masterbatch is used in molding process, it must be resistant to temperature and good color, and must pass the test of temperature and environment. According to the application of resin, like applied to PVC resin temperature is lower, applied to HDPE and LDPE resin temperature is higher, generally need to reach 170-220 °C.

4. Dispersibility. The insulation layer of wire and cable is very thin, the extrusion speed is very fast, the quality requirement is high, the dispersion requirement of color masterbatch is very high. If the color masterbatch in the extrusion of the insulation layer dispersion is not good, colored spots, use will cause sparks, which will be a great security risk.

5. Impurity content. Wire and cable color masterbatch if contains some salt and metal particles, made into wire and cable after use may cause wire and cable breakdown, Therefore, it is necessary to control the incorporation of these impurities, especially those that conduct electricity.

6. Migration resistance. Good migration resistance to make the color between the wires and cables will not transfer and stain each other, will not reduce the recognition of the cable due to the color problem, of course, will not cause trouble for installation and use.

7. Security. The metals, halogens, and other chemicals in the color masterbatch of wires and cables are controlled in limited quantities, especially for use in electronic and electrical appliances.
