1. Zinc stearate can be used as a heat stabilizer for PVC, with low initial coloring and good weather resistance. Generally, this product is mostly used for soft products, but in recent years, hard transparent products such as mineral water bottles and water pipes have been used. This product should not be used alone as it has a significant catalytic effect on the degradation of polyvinyl chloride. After a period of time, the product will quickly change color.

2. Zinc stearate is an acidic filler activator, which has significant activity as an acidic filler and can also be used as a lubricant at a lower price. When used as an internal demolding agent, its performance remains stable.

3. Zinc stearate is rarely used as an isolating agent as an activator in rubber, as it has a low solubility with rubber and is easy to spray onto the surface. However, it is often used as a co foaming agent or activator for EVA in peroxide foaming products.

4. Zinc stearate is mainly used as an activator and powder dispersant, as well as a release lubricant, plasticizer, and softener. It is suitable for natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and latex. When zinc stearate is used as an activator, it can have an acidic activation effect and improve processing performance. It can be used as a powder to sprinkle on the surface or mold cavity of the product, or made into a water dispersible coating on the surface or mold to prevent film adhesion.

5. Zinc stearate is generally used as an isolation agent. When mixing chloroprene rubber and chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber, it is a good lubricant that can significantly reduce the occurrence of roller sticking. The general dosage is 1.2%, which is safe and easy to spray out in excess. In addition, it can also reduce the surface gloss of rubber products, which has a certain extinction effect. There is another function. Adding 1-2% during mixing can significantly improve the flowability of the rubber material, that is, adding an internal rubber flow modifier can significantly reduce the occurrence of missing materials and defective products in the production of membrane pressed products.
