Oxidized polyethylene wax  is a new kind of excellent polar wax, which is made from  polyethylene wax by special oxidation process. Its molecular chain contains a certain amount of carbonyl and hydroxyl groups, so it has good compatibility with rubber, plastics, paraffin, pigments, fillers and polar resins. It is white with yellowish powder particles and has good chemical stability.

2. Application fields of oxidized polyethylene wax

(1) In the plastic processing industry, the internal and external lubrication of PVC is relatively balanced. The lubricity of oxidized polyethylene wax added to the hard transparent and opaque PVC formulation is better than that of other lubricants.

It is widely used in the production of PE, PVC cables, PVC profiles and pipes. It is an excellent new plastic processing lubricant. It can also be used as raw and auxiliary materials for textile softener, car wax and leather softener; 

At present, oxidized polyethylene wax is widely used in foamed boards. PVC foamed boards are the most difficult to produce in PVC products and the most difficult to solve. After adding oxidized polyethylene wax, plasticization can be significantly accelerated.

(2) It is used as dispersant, lubricant, brightener and coupling agent for pigment or filler such as thick color masterbatch, polypropylene masterbatch, additive masterbatch and filler masterbatch.

(3) Oxidized polyethylene wax is widely used in water-based coatings and ink formulations. It can improve the surface properties of coatings and provide excellent abrasion resistance, adhesion resistance and scratch resistance. The addition of oxidized polyethylene wax can also improve the rheological property of the liquid, so that the paint and coating can be more uniform and labor-saving in the process of use. It can also make the color of the paint more bright, accurate and not easy to produce color difference.

(4) As an auxiliary material of road marking paint, oxidized polyethylene wax is used to adjust the performance of road marking paint. It has the characteristics of high melting point, high hardness, no cracking, no dust, wear resistance and scratch prevention. Shorten the non adhesion time of the road marking coating to improve the traffic efficiency, and form an anti fouling layer on the surface after the coating is cured to maintain the clean and natural color of the marking. The oxidized polyethylene wax products flow very well, which can improve the toughness, adhesion, anti fouling, compressive strength and anti sliding ability of the road marking coating.

(5) As a lubricant, film remover and phase solvent for rubber and plastic processing, EVA wax has good compatibility with various rubbers. Due to its high melting point and low viscosity, it promotes good resin fluidity, relatively reduces the power consumption of resin mixing, reduces the adhesion between resin and mold, and is easy to remove film. It plays the role of internal and external lubrication, and has good antistatic property.

(6) As an auxiliary material for asphalt modification, it has the characteristics of reducing viscosity, high temperature aging resistance, high melting point, improving surface hardness, abrasion resistance and scratch prevention.
